Enjoyed the hell out of my 4 day weekend. Did a lot of things, but maybe the thing you all may be the most interested in, is that I saw Tangled.

I'd seen previous Disney CG efforts and I actually liked a few of them, but this is the first 3D feature they've done that retains the design and animation sensibilities of their 2D efforts. Also, unlike The Princess Frog, I thought the songs in Tangled were much more memorable. It also had really likable characters and some genuinely funny moments. I have really nothing bad to say about it.

When Disney first started doing 3D features, I was bummed out. I sort of wanted them to just leave that stuff to Pixar. After seeing Tangled though, I'd be cool with them doing more 3D features, as long as they continue to sprinkle in some 2D movies here and there.
