Bill at work just got back from Japan. He brought Whale Jerky with him. I expected to hate it, but had to say I'd tried it. I was apprehensive about eating it at first, not as grossed out as I expected on first bite, confused by the after taste and disgusted when the real flavor took hold on the second bite.

It tasted like licking the inside of an unclean aquarium. But now I can say I've ate whale. For me it rates above most vegetables and above lobster. I hate both of those things though, so it's not high praise.
