Who knew Hitler was such a fan of Rock Band?!
Are people a fan of me posting videos in my rants that amuse me? I'll probably do it either way, but I am curious.
I didn't see any movies this weekend, which is sorta weird given how many movies I've seen lately. I haven't had my balls removed yet, so Sex and the City didn't appeal to me. It makes me sad that it beat out Indiana Jones, even if that movie was in it's second week of release. Maybe I should put a buncha horny old ladies in Bizarre Uprising and then we could get some of that sweet Cougar viewership that SITC has.
Having won the GTA IV game tape, I decided to go back to Saints Row and compare the two with a fresh perspective. While GTA is definitely the better game, I'm surprised by how much it took from SR. Then again, Saints Row stole so much from GTA that I suppose it's the least it owed the franchise.
It's not what GTA stole that upsets me, but rather what it didn't. Some obvious omissions like an MP3 player, out of car GPS, fully loaded garages and hostage missions made me long for them when I was playing GTA IV and not Saints Row. That's not to mention the fact that GTA made it so I can no longer car surf and is absent of insurance fraud missions.
I'm not putting Saints Row on a pedestal, I'm just realizing more and more that it's not as far behind GTA as some would have you believe. That and I simply can't wait to play the entire story of Saints Row 2 Co-op with Gil. That in itself may be an experience that for me rivals what GTA IV did. At least in terms of fun factor.
