Hey there everyone! The new site design sure looks all pretty and stuff, doesn't it? It's all because of Razlo and Jen's hard work, since I just did the sidebar drawing thing there, though that was a lot of work too, I guess.
So I went up to Gil and Razlo's, and made us all go to the midnight release of the new Smash Bros and forced Gil to buy it before he planned to, since I totally wanted to play it, but I don't have a Wii, because Grandmas who never use it for more than Wii-Sports keep buying them all, whenever I actually feel like getting one. DAMN YOU GRANDMAS!!! Though I guess I probably shouldn't be spending the money, or rather, credit anyway. The new Smash Bros is a ton of fun, by the way, as we spent a chunk of Saturday night and most of Sunday playing it. The new side-scrolling single/double player mode is really neat, and we cheered and laughed when Solid Snake showed up, and teamed up with badass Pokemon and Kirby characters. It really does make me want to pick up a Wii, if it wasn't for those aforementioned Grandmas. Alas, maybe someday.
But before all that, since Razlo had to go do some wedding stuff, Gil and I watched a mini-marathon of new Spongebob episodes on Nick, which were totally bizarre and fucked-up, and therefore totally awesome, especially the one in which Spongebob attempted to become "normal". I'm behind on my Spongebob DVD season sets, but I think I'll skip ahead to whichever one ends up having those episodes on them.
I also missed the new Spiderman cartoon, since Razlo didn't know it was starting and I didn't set up a tape for it, since I assumed that Razlo was recording it on his DVR. Which proves what they say about what happens when you assume, I guess.
